J.E.R.E.M.Y. was programmed, not born, by a massive interstellar supercomputer called MULTIVAC. “Journeying Electronic Replicant Engineered for Mining Ytterbium” utilizes coffee as his primary fuel source, and requires a constant supply of hot fuel to maintain safe operating parameters. Jeremy teleported to Earth after discovering the exciting field of web development. He is currently the only Ytterbium Minerbot on Earth, and easily one of the most advanced Minerbots within 30 parsecs of our green planet.

AMY PEARSON
Amy was thrust into her photography career fresh out of college, hired to manage the photography department of a multi-million dollar cooperation and act as a liason between the photographers and graphic designers setting up shots, choosing models and making sure the vision of the designers was seen by the photographers. She couldn’t have asked for a better job, and those photographers she worked with taught her much.
Since those early years Amy has pursued the actual photography side of things more in depth. She is a voracious student of light and people, two things that are ever-changing yet ever-beautiful. On a more personal note, Amy loves coffee, rain and a good book. (Ray Bradbury is her hero.)
Experience: Photography, digital image manipulation, visual storytelling, copywriting.
ERIC HUSEMOEN
Eric was born to Vikings in the very remote area of northern Norway. As a child, he and his family hunted fluffy white seals and whales for their meals. He learned at a very early age to use handmade weapons like wooden spears and knitting needles to kill for survival.
When his family moved to the state of Washington, they adopted an Alaskan Husky as a pet. The game here is very different, and thus Eric and his family had to learn to hunt and kill beavers, ducks, bears, and cougars. The game is different, but the sweet success of the kill never has left him.
Eric is a connector of people. He is funny, approachable, intuitive, and all of the things any company needs to balance out the office, especially if there is a vanilla latte at stake.
Experience: Sales management, account management, business management, watching the Huskies lose repeatedly
HEATHER DERINGER
Heather comes to the craft of writing hard-wired for blending technical accuracy with a creative touch. She believes that good writing doesn’t happen by accident, but through deliberation. With a keen eye for detail and a head for research, she brings 100% of her high-energy focus and broad background into play, each and every time she sets out to tell a new story.
When she’s not celebrating with an author-copyediting client, polishing up a non-profit’s print and media materials or helping lay out new business strategy, you’ll find her with her son, two daughters and husband cooking, skiing or boating. If you ask them, “What does she do?” They shout, “She’s a writer!” If you ask her, she’d say that editing and writing isn’t what she does, it’s who she is.
Locally grown and raised in the Pacific Northwest, she has a degree in English and a Technical and Professional Writing Certificate from Washington State University.
Experience: Copywriting, copyediting, freelance articles, professional reports, book proposals
What does “Mindlightning” mean?
We created the term “Mind Lightning” as a reference to what scientists believe happens between neurons and synapses in the brain when thought occurs. The artist’s rendering shown here illustrates what is likely happening as a person thinks, or formulates an idea.

We use the term as the basis for what we do—answers with thought. Without critical thinking to drive the visual concepts, even the most attractive branding or graphic design runs the risk of being irrelevant to your audience.
Most of the time, you don’t have the opportunity to verbally share your story with your prospects. Your outreach is an opportunity to show your story and evoke an emotional response that will open the door to relationships.
Our tagline, “thinking + branding” embodies our approach to conveying value through visual language. We do it because it works.
Don’t just tell your story, show it.
